SETO CULTURAL HERITAGE

Get acquainted with the nature and heritage of Põlva County and the preserved culture of Setos. During the tour we visit Põlva Peasant Museum, historical post road Postitee and Estonian Road Museum. The road museum is an interactive museum in open air with unexpected architectural solutions.

Further we drive to Seto Peasant Museum in Värska. The Seto people are one of the most original ethnic groups among the Balto-Finnic nations who still succeeded in retaining their language, traditions and food. Visit the museum, which is a copy of traditional Seto farm and eat Seto’s traditional food.
