VISIT TO THE HOLY GROUND – PETSERI MONASTERY AND PÜHTITSA NUNNERY

Day 1

Arrival to Tallinn, Tallinn sightseeing tour including visit to the ruins of Pirita Nunnery.
Drive to Tartu, accommodation in Tartu.

Day 2

After breakfast departure from Tartu. Visit to Petseri Monastery (Russia) including Uspenskaya Church, Mikhail Church and the caves. Lunch in Petseri. Excursion to Pskov including Kremlin, the Administrative Chamber, St. Basil Church on the hill etc. Drive back to Tartu, accommodation in Tartu.

Day 3

After breakfast Tartu sightseeing tour. Visit to Pühtitsa Nunnery in Ida -Virumaa established in 1892. Take an empty bottle with you to take the blessed water from the well with you.
On the way we also visit the villages of Russian Old Believers at Lake Peipsi and have a local speciality – tea from samovar and onion pie.
Drive back to Tallinn.
